Food

There will be a wine and snacks reception provided by COTSEAL on Friday night, July 18 (5-7 pm), and a box lunch provided at the conference on Saturday, July 19. You're on your own for dinner on Friday and Saturday, but it's expected that conference attendees will get together and go out to eat in groups. There's a wide selection of reasonably-priced restaurants on State St., a short walk from campus and Lowell Center (hotel), and more dining options--including Southeast Asian food--1-3 miles awayfor those with cars or taking a taxi.

Poetry Night

Poetry Night is a long-running SEASSI/COTSEAL tradition. It takes place from 7-9 pm Saturday night, July 19, Rooms B-1:A&B at Lowell Center. It's an opportunity for SEASSI students, faculty, and COTSEAL conference attendees to share and listen to poetry and songs in Southeast Asian languages. More information about Poetry Night will be sent out soon. We hope that all of you can stay Saturday night and attend, and perform yourself if you're so inclined.
